bling my joker poker
« on: June 11, 2012, 08:43:34 AM »
hey, ive been playing around with some left over parts...
ive kept 99 % playability of the original so its not vandalised. thers 6 completely new shots added
and the plunger lane has a divertor.

its going to be interesting to "deep seat" this baby into a system 1 cabinet !

Interesting. That one BIG orbit shot. So the rear drop target bank has been removed ?

Both ramps ending up in the same wireform ramp ?

Is this NPC003 ?

Hey nino, No the rear bank is still there (I reckon I'd be skinned if I removed it!) 2 drops reveal a hidden saucer kick out, this will lock a ball and is Also super skill shot. A toy jokers hat also sits on top of this target bank hiding most of the orbit path and joker jackpot via the passive switch behind the actual joker target... Yeah it's a long orbit!, I am thinking it will help with a bit of residency time during multiball.. Coming back ccw a one way gate stops it so it rebounds as per normal into the "a b c" lanes.. Both ramps end in single trail to rhs flipper.

hey yes the ramps are part of earthshaker skill shot spiral on rhs and the left was a mangled one from a mystery castle..heres a few more pics
the guard rail still to come for the habit trail and better shot of upper pf. the pop bumper housing has seen some serious dremilling!   *%*
....just enough so pop mech will still work without hinderance.

yeah ive read a little about that, i have not played in that environment. i think multiball could be a challenge there too?! i think ill do the usual npc thing. ill have to go play test nicks some more to get a good grip on the original rules. im trying to keep this frankenstein nice and simple.

You could easily adapt rules and simply revert back if needed. No SYS1 games support multiball, so it would be a challenge.

Will follow with interest.

The habit trails are finished and fit in well with the existing playfield art, heres the homey divertor gate, this is servo driven from the new prototype nug board..
ive also included for comic relief early attempts at a jokers hat toy !  it needs to be about 30% bigger with appropriate material, oh and actually look like a jester hat..
