My Son wants a "Jurassic park"
« on: March 03, 2009, 06:26:47 PM »
Hi Guys,

My 4 year old son has been flogging the Pro Football to death since fixing it and he loves it!!! Now im sure he's hooked on pins  @@* Now however he was looking over my shoulder and saw me looking at a jurassic park on ebay and now "needs" one.

I've never played one before so any thoughts prices etc from those of you in the know would be great!

Thanks Again!

I have one and I love it. My son LOVES dinosaurs - so it was an easy decision. As a "player" - it is one of the best DE machines along with Guns and Roses.

Think of it is a "poor mans Addams Family" - very close in my opinion.

Should get one in fair condition for around $2K

Great playing machine with the dino novelty. Great for kids.  ^^^

Surprisingly deep rule sheet with many avenues to concur. I had the machine for 6 years and only got to system failure twice. Boy did that mode put on a show.

Biggest regretful sale, selling my JP !  @.@

I agree with Nino, very underrated pin with a price tag of around $1800- $2200 i reckon.

Good luck !

Yep, one of the better DE titles for sure, I do like it.

Stretch that to $2600 if it has been shopped, I think.

You do know there's one in Sydney starting at $2K - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Jurassic-Park-Pinball-Machine_W0QQitemZ230328892803QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_15?hash=item230328892803&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318

I also have one and have a heap of fun with it.  I reckon its great as the neighbour's 5 year old comes over and plays it and grins from ear to ear when the T Rex eats the ball.  Its also complex enough to keep coming back and try and get the system failure mode, haven't managed to achieve that yet but i will!!
