contact for touch ups
« on: September 19, 2012, 08:51:47 AM »
I have read stuff that people have used a low tack covering for stenciling and touch ups. Can you use CONTACT that kids use for school books? Is it too sticky? What if you dab it with a cloth or something to lessen the degree of adhesion?

Where do you buy this low tack stuff?

On a playfield ?

I use Frisket. Hard to track down at times, but you can get it at some art suppliers stores in a roll. It sticks well enough to use an airbrush for touch ups without lifting.

I never use contact unless you are using it as a substitute for mylar - ie - to protect the touch ups.
