Black Knight : NEW IN BOX
« on: March 13, 2009, 03:50:03 PM »
Hi guys
found this while I was surfing the web
A brand new in the box black knight.
sold for $7000 us
Only 1 left
here is the link of the photos of one of the lucky guys that bought one.( http://usergallery.myhomegameroom.com/gallery/album206/DSCN2275 )
Only if i had a spare $7k us
I did own one back in the late 80's
I payed $550 aus and it was in imaculate condition.
i used to live in a flat with this other guy and i was out one day, he was trying to put some credits up on it and he broke the wire off the coin switch.
so the IDIOT tried touching it (the wire) on several things to put up a credit.
one of the things he touched it on was the coil wires.Well that was it, it totaly killed the boards in the machine. and back then the cost of repairing the boards was worth more than the machine + i couldn't find repalacement boards anywere either.

Trouble is once you unpack it and have a few games its value drops. But would it be hard to leave it boxed!

You would have to pull it down and wax it first.
It would be nice though.

I think ANOTHER BK was found after this one. The original seller had 2 or 3 BK machines.

Incredible find !
