Junk Yard fetched some good dollars
« on: March 15, 2009, 08:58:24 PM »
Congrats to MarkC, this one (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=110359830780) went for just over $4K.

Frankly, I was surprised it went past $3K - are they a bit hard to find? Do they normally go for this sort of money?

Sure it is a fun pin, and if I was running short on a list of pins to keep an eye out for this would get added, but it didn't seem that compelling. Maybe I didn't play it for long enough?

Good $$$ for a Junkyard. I played one briefly a couple of years ago. Can't remember where though. Same hardware as a CV, TOTAN etc I believe.

A very underrated game... Has slipped under the radar a bit because everyone just raves about 2 or 3 WPC-95 titles and ignore the rest.

I thought that was very cheap, Mark had $4850 on it if I remember correctly on that machine in the shop.

I had a real good look at it 2-3 weeks ago, very well shopped and a great game.

For a 1996 machine, with only 3000 odd units built, I think these will go up in price.

Bumper still has one at $5500 (or $5000 for AP members)

Cheers Angelo

WPC-95 Hardware - same as Scared Stiff / CV etc. A VERY nice game. Playfield was immaculate.
