Apparently I have passed away???
« on: January 26, 2013, 03:13:16 PM »
I was informed by a new customer that was searching for my contact details that I had died?  !@#
he was told this by a dealer / repairer and was then told to send this dealer his boards so they can be repaired. When he got the boards back they still had faults.

I just can't understand how people can lie about things like this (but from the reputation of this dealer i am not surprised)

i must be such an ars people say things about me to stick it to me  @.@

Anyway people I am alive and well if any one else has been told this it is just a lot of bolder dash ()

Have you taken your pulse lately, you never know the dealer might be right :D

And to think yoU didn't even throw a pinball bash for your wake, don't you think that's a bit rude of you?  @@*

I'm wondering if you should out the dealer so he can feel a little embarrassed by his stupid behavior.

Good to see your keeping well by the way  ^^^

Karma has a way of getting these type of people.

Good luck to him, he may need it.

Glad to see you're still kicking, the pinball world still needs you! @@*

Sounds like the dealer just telling lies to get board repair work. Bloody dishonest dealers! !*!

Well Andrew, due to your contribution to Pinball, you would be considered a "pinball legend"- and "legends" never die.

I've heard some similar stories of late, so it must be a new sales pitch. I'd rather the dealer not be named on the forum - but you can PM me his name if needed.

It is just bad form to knock the "good guys" in the industry, but some people choose to do that rather than promote their own "good" work.

Yep That's pretty low ,

It this dealer local ? or down south ?

As a coded answer you can just say L or DS , then we can try to figure it out .

Good to hear you are safe and well mate.

I know and appreciate that AP is above these sort of tactics but sometimes I think it would be nice to out these shonks.  The rubbish that goes on in this industry/hobby still amazes me after all these years.
