which ever way you decide to go you must ensure the connection between the wire and the connector and the connector and header is done properly or else you will have problems.

The maximum current a Trifurcon connector pin is rated at is 7 amps, the Pancon black IDC is rated at 12.5Amps,   !!@ (the wank icon is aimed at the person who wrote the Pancon specifications and not towards any member of this site)  but the Black high temperature headers used with 18 Gauge wire and with Phos Bronze coating are rated at 7 Amps so a 12.5 Amp rated connector between the wire and the connector has no real advantage ( remember we only have a 5 amp fuse on the wpc G.I. circuits in a fuse holder rated at 15 amps and I even have seen these melted and burned ). it all comes down to how good the connection is. None of the specifications state weather they are peak or RMS ratings either.
