Rattle can acrylic, yeah I would have sprayed over the edges as the stencil has some small areas.
Any tips appreciated

Always go light.. fine spray to seal the edges and another fine spray once that's dry. If you try and fill a colour then youll spray too much and lose the integrity of the stencil edge. Often, it looks like you don't have enough colour to cover whats underneath but invariably, that's not the case.. your eyes lie to you when stencilling
