You will find most platers moving away from Zinc plating, in favor of Nickel plating. Nickel plating looks more like chrome when polished. The parts I zinc plate were previously zinc, so nickel plating is the incorrect presentation. Any parts previously Chrome, I take to the local plater to nickel plate. But the prices are starting to get higher and higher.
