If you're putting on lew legs on the JP Steve how are the threads in the leg plates (the bit inside the cabinet that the leg bolts screw into) .

I have a Data East Star Wars that I recently replaced all the threaded leg plates in . I used the Williams/Bally type with extra thread :

They fit basically straight in (you have to buy some screws to attach them to the inside corner ) but are heaps better than the original DE ones that don't have a lot of thread and strip out easily .
