i cant work out if the topic is serious or not ?

Not really serious, just a bit of fun. My wife has always insisted that the weekend coming is "This weekend" and the one after that is "next weekend". That's what my mate's wife meant too. At the office it was split exactly 50/50 on it's meaning.
