they don't do it for me. I think pin 2000 is dull & boring ! ther's plenty of new idears floating around ,why go backwards?

I understand ya point Daz, if someone only had one pin to play all the time, a Pin 2000 would be a little boring, but it can be a refreshing change to play a RFM or SW Ep 1 after playing lots of normal pinball. RFM can be espescially challenging, with SW Ep1 being a little easier to play, but a machine with definate eye candy with the jedi light saber and the improved movie clip graphics. If a Pin2000 was released today using 2011 technology etc, I reckon it would sell. The other point, is that no-one has come up with or even come close to implementing any new ideas in over ten years. I would buy a Iron Man in the pin2000 platform before I would buy a standard Iron Man in a snooze fest STERN platform.  *%*

I guess we all have different tastes, and Pin2000 was either loved or hated. But admittedly, I just like it cause it is so different.

One interesting thing, is most people have only seen or played a Pin2000 with a tired old monitor with faded colours. A rebuilt monitor with new chasis parts along with the degausing, and the improvement in colour n sharpness is 300 percent. Mine is like brand spanking new, and the graphics are excellent n crisp and as bright as buggery. This alone makes a massive visual and positive gameplay difference.  ^^^
