Just to finish off the thread, here's a picture of the LEDs in the headbox in case someone wants to kit theirs out this way. The LEDs are all 180 degrees standard, but I didn't use #89 flashers - they were too bright. I stuck with the incandescent #89s.

Machine 100% completed - Ready for the owner to take delivery early next week.

Plays REALLY WELL - and is an under rated machine.

Saw this and played this when I was collecting the T3 at Ninos the other week ( Hi Spacejam  :lol )
I tell you what - had it NOT already been sold - then I would have grabbed this as well.

Plays NICELY and obviously has come up very nicely with Nino's touch.

Plastics Set arrived (thanks again to Brett and Leon).

I positioned them accordingly as I will be fitting this machine with LEDs from RTBB. It will be an interesting setup, lots of color under the playfield but not much on top. The translite has huge potential.

More tomorrow !

Where and how did you score those TFTC plastics? Just picked up one and the playfield plastics are pretty shot. Any help would be appreciated!

The plastics were kindly donated by two members. I believe the plastics were either NOS or reproduction. They were slightly thinner than the originals, but they fit and looked great. I have no idea where they were sourced from originally.

If I had to guess, those *look* like Chile Pinball made plastics.

Chile's plastics are OK from my experience. Match may be a little off, but as long as you replace the entire set, nobody will ever know.

I'm not sure if they are around anymore, though.

I got these plastics in a bulk deal off ebay a few years ago...

I beleive that CPR in the states is doing plastic sets in the coming months, good news for TFTC owners  ^^^

See pinside for more details.

I remember Chile pinball. Had a T2 set and you're right about the graphics being different. It was so different from the originals that I couldn't work out how they could get it so different and I'm not just talking about colour. But I suppose if you replace all the plastics it would have been ok. I sold mine because I found better repos for the 2 plastics that were gone on my game.
Still loving my Metallica Premium

The graphics were a bit different and the holes were not 100%. The plastic is a bit thinner. These are not a critism of the plastics set I installed - merely an observation. They made the game look so much better. If CPR make them, then I'll be very pleased !
