As my Volcano is missing the sound board, I've been searching eBay/Gumtree, but to no avail.
I stumbled across this site in France.

Has anyone tried this one, or any of his other boards  !@#
Around AU$90. No stock of this sound card, but he has emailed me to say he will have some next month.
My export Volcano didn’t have speech, but I’m not sure if this board is as generic (sounds) as stated.

I have got several Pascal boards in system 1 machines and they are great.  I also have a Ni Wumpf board and wouldnt buy another  one.  You can feel very confident getting yourself a Pascal board, I would even think about getting an all in one board for your machine.

I recently ordered two one for a Star Race (gottlieb) Sys 80 and it worked 100%. Some sounds were missing on the original Star Race Board and the new one made the game sound so much better.. Good product i thinks the second board i bought for a Black Hole but then realised that mine has speech so it is a spare now..  Ps give me a Pm if you are interested in the spare board that i have..

Will be getting one for my EM for fun (once available), but was thinking the 8 inputs (+4 for longer mp3 file) would not be enough for a SYS80  !@#

The MP3 player modules that Mike is using both have 8 inputs I think Mike has only supplied connections for 4 of them but the inputs are still there.
8 on one channel and 8 on the other channel should be plenty for SYS80, not sure about speech games though.

Pascal's boards are the best on the market. I've installed half a dozen and I have more or order for SYS1 and also my Haunted House.

Youre right Pachals boards are spot on but mikes are made in aus and would allow customisation outside of the standard sounds
