A little birdie from the USA who is very close to the production of the Metallica Pinball, told me, that the Metallica Pro game, and first proto-types and information on the Stern site and everything we have seen to date, was brought forward 6 weeks to beat another manufacturers release date and to get the publicity.
So, in effect Stern isn't behind, they are actually running in advance of the original real dates. Re Avengers being 2 weeks behind ???, in the pinball world, that is nothing, compared to others being years behind so to speak. I think you will find that Stern will be doing everything properly with Metallica, rather than rushing it out the door. When I asked Borgy about the release of the video, and he mentioned he was going to ask Jody Dakenberg to try n do some teaser videos, I thought it would be a dream come true if he could do that on such short notice. If that comes off, it just goes to show how quickly Stern can respond to its customer base, and its a good sign that they really care about keeping the hoards happy.
