Desk has wheels so his office is mobile. Stern looks healthy.

This is the legend that designed one of the best tables of all time - GTB "Spirit". It will be very interesting to see what he brings to stern.

Trudeau and a multinational team (US and Europe) were working on a Forbidden Planet pinball privately which seems to have gone quiet in recent times.  #@#

Excellent news.

Very capable designer. Pretty much the sole designer at Gottlieb in the mid to late 80's.
Looking forward to seeing what can bring to that small table of his.
In a recent interview speaking with Clay, he stated it was still his dream to be in the pinball industry. Passionate industry people are who you want working for you.

Great news, one of my favourite designers.

Will be interesting to see whether Stern will now be releasing even more games per year.

I'm wondering if the appointment is to compliment the current design team, or for John to push the envelope with the designs ? My thoughts are that he is going to release an innovative design, as that's what he did at Gottlieb. For those that can't remember, John created many tables that were innovative and creative. Not just the simple ramps shots - there's almost a "science" behind John's designs. Just about all the games he was involved with have something "left field". I expect surprises and innovation.

Thanks, interesting short interview. John's all-time desire is to do a Beatles pin (he mentions towards the end).
Now, that would be an interesting project, replicating Lucy's Sky Diamonds with LEDs.
