Here is the final list of games.

"Reserved" games are machines that I've located for members, or that members have asked me to hold since I started this thread. It will take at least a week before I can start to go through these machines "one by one", so please be patient while I take photos and provide condition reports. The container will be delivered next week if there are no other delays.

Container Day !
« Reply #32 on: June 13, 2013, 02:05:25 PM »

At 8:00 AM this morning my container arrived, and it took us an hour to empty 54 machines. All of them are still wrapped and I will need to unwrap and access each game. I will start with reserved games for AP members, but please be patient, as I'm really busy with other work and I've badly sprained my thumb while unloading. So I won't get to these games until earliest next week.

Please be patient, I am severely "under the pump" !

Here is the container arrival ;

Open the door and nothing has moved ! A couple of additional games were thrown in before it left.

The storage building is seriously filling up !

The latest arrivals are on the left side of the building, previous container games on the right. This building is full. I might be able to fit another 10 games. There are 150 games in this building.  :D :D

Very happy at the moment, but my thumb is absolutely killing me !

Thanks for the kind words - and the thumb is a bit sore, but I will live..

I consider myself VERY VERY fortunate with this haul. I have my work cut out, but I'm up for the challenge. The games all arrived safely, and I can't wait to start unpacking. The Bally EMs are really nice, a lot better than I expected. The Bally / Midway games look very good as well. As I spend time on them, I'll know more. I can't wait to unpack Fireball, but I'll have to wait until my hand is better. I'm very content right now and I think I'll have to have an early night..

Good to hear the latest haul arrived safely Nino . Shame about the thumb but its a temporary inconvenience .

Thanks for posting the pics , certainly not something you see every day .
An original Star Trek is very tempting for me but I will try very hard to resist as I already have more pins than room as it is.  :lol

I remember removing some jukeboxes and pool tables to make room good to see that's long gone.

  I'm guessing our secret games will be buried for a bit longer ;)

Congrats on the save arrival on safe arrival of what is undoubtedly an awesome haul of machines.

With so many machines in the storage shed, is there any chance that you will be selling any as is project type machines?

Not unless it is someones "Holy Grail", or a duplicate title. I often get requests for older games, and some of these fill those requests. Some members ask me to locate and sell "as is" - which I will do, but I don't usually sell other games "as is" for two key reasons ;

1 - It takes the enjoyment of restoration away from me  !!!
2 - I don't want to be put into the same category as "Container Importers"   *.*

My Business model works on restoration, and I source my own games to restore. Technically, I am a "container importer", as so was my father in the 50's. But I don't want a reputation for providing "cheap" project games to newbies that expect working games. In my experiences, this will cause issues with reputation. I am in the Business of restoration because I LOVE the work. The more machines in storage, the more choices people have.

I have targeted older games, because there is demand for the classics, and historically, the standards of older games have been very low.

Blair - if there is something you are looking for, or something you would like - PM me. I have more overseas.
