Playfield starts to grey after 2 weeks play with Stern balls. Constantly cleaning and rag comes up sooty grey colour.

Changed to Bling and after 12 months play, the playfield is still like new without a clean. Some say to watch what balls you use on machines with magnet coils. I had no problems yet on AC/DC or Hulk.

If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

Round Ones   *)*

I personally just use the run of the mill balls and change them more often...

Polish used on the Pf seems to contribute to how dirty it Gets Ive found...and the white rubbers
Firepower, F14 Tomcat, Terminator2, Twilight Zone, No Fear, TAF, Hyperball, Sttng....

Try VP, no need for novice, just an occasional Windex wipe.
