Inserts for playfields
« on: August 10, 2013, 08:20:32 PM »
I am on a roll today with research in the playfields and restoration materials and thought the next thing people need are inserts and I need a few for a playfield so got me searching what is available and where - maybe another sticky thread as sure others may find this useful.

What I found so far are the following, but please feel free to add to the list other sources of inserts or direct from the insert manufacturers.

Pinball Life

Planetary Pinball

Macrospecialties

The Pinball Resource

does anyone else know of any other sellers or places where you can buy direct from the manufacturers

I believe Micro make there own

or just look in the back of a stern manual

buy direct from the manufacturers... you would have to order thousands  at a guess.
you could try homepin......at some stage Mike should be able to hook you up

Jady,

As you Know I replaced most on my F14 resto and it was a bit of a mission to find them all,

Most suppliers have some but not all that I required anyways, and some seemed just plain unobtainium.

a few old ones went back in in less obvious places..

Replacing the clear ones makes a massive difference to the look of the Pf when lit especially with leds under...

In the pic the clear Arrows,

I had to remove the abaze 3 led 44s and replace with singles, Mates complaining they couldn't see the ball  !@#

I also tried CPR they get their own made, were reluctant to sell me any.....

took ages to receive but a tip from MarkC initally allowed me to purchase some F14 specific inserts from these guys..He knew they had them...

Peter..
