All Time Greatest Toys On A Pinball Machine
« on: October 07, 2013, 09:54:36 PM »
Guys,

I was thinking about this the other night and was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the best toys ever on a pinball with thoughts to creating a poll on the top 10 or 20 toys.

Some that spring to mind as being memorable and don't get old are the Mist Ball on BSD, Sparky on Metallica, Supercharger on Getaway HSII, levitating ball on Pinball Magic, Magic Wand on Pinball Magic.

Any others??????  Looking for toys that blow people away and typically get a "that's a cool toy" comment.
Addicted to pins.

Best toy ever hands down is Rudy.

Have to agree here, Rudy is the most interactive pinball toy as far as I know and the beginning of 'pinmation'. I'm hoping JJP can come up with something comparable with their Smaug toy.

Simple yet effective.

Rudy is an engineering marvel and was the first toy that the game could revolve around.

The most intricate would be the Corvette LT-5 Ramp. It is a cool toy as well. Jurassic Park Dino is also very clever.

+ for Rudy. Of all the toys I have experienced, his level of interaction with the player is in my opinion the best. Even after many games, his descent from fun to evil never gets old, and has a spookily realistic something about it. He bothers me so much that I have to wait for him to finish and close his eyes before I shut the game down otherwise he might keep staring at me while I play another game - very distracting!!

I might throw in the under playfield magnets on GnR, very effective on GnR.

I always thought the "captain bazar head" is a cool toy on party zone just fun how it follows the ball around.

Yep, those magnets are very cool, also used to great effect on XMen.

Sparky is my new favourite. When they first unveiled Metallica, I thought "that character has nothing to do with the band", but I love it now. I wish I had a Sparky toy for my desk.

Have never owned a Funhouse, but Rudy was the first toy to come to mind.

Freddy's head is another good one.
