it's a smart move, as there are over 3000 Ford dealers in the states, imagine a Mustang pin in every dealer, then the people that come to buy a Mustang are exposed to pinball and a mustang pin at that and they buy both.

Just they might have to do a better job on having the code complete and don't want quality issues like leds flying out lol.

YES.
Going to buy one if I can. Pro models are my liking - best bang for ya buck.

I have been a FORD man all my life. Love the USA 1970/1971 Yellow slant back mustang with the 351 4V motor in the ORIGINAL "Gone in 60 seconds movie". That got my blood pumping. The later movie remake with that silver mutant Shelby thing was crap compared to he original movie release. Original was basic but showed the real car driving at 160 miles an hour etc. 240 to 280 klms per hr in our math.

I will put the Stern Pro Ford pinny next to my Viper Night Driving Pinball machine. Will look great together.
This title might be bigger than ACDC in the USA. Massive Ford fan base over there. As mentioned, one pinny in every Ford Dealership equals 3000 sales before Joe Public in the USA/World has a crack. Will be interesting . Great times ahead.  ^^^

and they are bringing them to Aus as well so smart thinking for Stern as there could be a deal for a pin in every ford dealer around the world - that will bring the pinheads out of the wood work to find and play.

Geez Brett that viper looks in awesome condition :-) I have one in my house at the moment and it's a fun game with plenty to do. I'm a Holden man but I do love stangs so I'm interested to see what stern come out with :-)

The Mustang should be a great pin. I am a Chrysler/ Dodge/ Cuda/ Mopar fan since the early 70s. My dad worked for Ford for 30 years and has a lot of Ford collectibles and bits and pieces. Might have to buy one of these for old time memories.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.

that viper photo is from the net,not actually my machine,  but my Viper Night Drivin is just as good.

love that 71 mustang. u can buy them so so cheap in the USA. Work the 351 4V and u have a missile on 4 tyres.
I almost bought one that was converted to right hand drive properly from a tongan guy in the same yellow colour a few yrs ago for $12 grand. He was a bad gambler.
But the people he played cards with took it before I could get my fingers on it. It was very nice too. Oneday I will find one.
That 71 Stang and the 1977 454 black Pontiac transam firebird that Burt Reynolds drove in that famous movie Smokey n the bandit.

Stern released a lot of press stuff today on their facebook and Stern USA website.

George Gomez says that John Trudeau is the designer for this game, and in fact George only approved Johns final design etc,.

So if u are a fan of ant John Trudeau's machines, then have a relook at the Stern site n check out more info on the Mustang Pinball.

Word is the Mustang is set to replace the Falcon in Australia when Ford stops local production?

Not sure how that works as a Falcon is 4 door and  Mustang 2???

Replacement Pinball PCBs that remain faithful to the originals

Mustang only replacing and going into the Ford lineup as a muscle sports car. (not replacing falcon at all).

When FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) a company that was not actually owned by Ford, but the company Tickford sold its Ford enhancing business to with Fords approval went broke, there was a licencing court case that dragged on for the last few years so u have seen the XR8 logo disappear and the GT logo disappear, but replaced with a GS named supercharged 5.0 litre 390 kilowatt car etc etc. The GS goes back to late 70 model cars and stands for Grand Sports.

The mustang was brought in to plug a hole in the Ford performance stable till the FPV case gets settled.
XR8's and GT and GTHO brand names appearing back in late 2014/early 2015.
