WTF pinball sales
« on: January 02, 2014, 05:22:28 PM »
There may already be a thread for this, but I'd have no idea how to search for it.

Doing my semi-regular Gumtree search for pins, I came across this monstrosity:

I guess for $1,000 you could probably get it scrubbed up okay, depending on how the PF looks... but the giant red plastics don't give much hope for the rest of the machine. Great idea with the car badges, though! I should do that to mine  :tumble:
(do kinda want that topper though!)

And how could I forget this beauty?

And for further details, the seller supplied another photo:

Not sure why someone would retheme a WH2O to Jim Beam (let alone only the cabinet art), even if it is some kind of official promotional thing. Very strange!

So yeah... um, I guess this could be a thread for posting interesting/unusual/"lol HOW much are they asking?!?" pins found around the traps. I'm curious to see what pops up in our fair country :)

My WH2O is a Jim Beam promo game

there was another for sale a few months back
I wonder how many JB converted?
(they were used when the conversion was done as the original cabinet art is underneath and is faded)

I entered that competition a dozen times for that Ice break machine. Didn't know it was a getaway pinball ^&^
Makes me even more pissed that I didn't win it. !!! I wouldn't have been able to leave the ice break decals on it....very tacky ::)

Wow, I'd never heard of these conversions! Is it the companies themselves doing them or just someone doing custom artwork?

Jim Beam and Whitewater just seems like an incredibly odd combination. Doubt you'd ever catch me getting smashed on JB and going whitewater rafting!

Some people do not have the guts to do the rapids until they have sunk a few JBs.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

And some JB drinkers probably resemble Bigfoot ;)
