5 project games .. I must be mad !

Gday all .

Will be picking up a Bally Playboy ('78 version) and a GTB El Dorado next week . Both need a good clean and cabinet repaint . Both have had original artwork painted over , but Playboy comes with stencils
Playboy boots up and plays which is great .
El Dorado will need an overhaul as some score reels don't reset and by the look of it hasn't had a service in the last 20 or 30 years LOL .

With 5 projects I really need a dedicated workspace so am going to repurpose the back of our single garage which will give me space to have at least 2 pins setup and still park a car in there .  

Bonus is I won't be working on pins in the middle of my arcade space like I have been .
Hopefully it will also mean I am more enthusiastic to actually finish some of my project games.

Good luck with it Dave. I think the project pins will be the easy part compared to making room in the garage

The PB and Eldorado seemed like a good pickup and priced well.  Aside from the cabinets needing work they look like they will clean up nicely.

That 2nd pic looks just like MY shed whenever i start working on anything pin related.. ie crap piled on top of the other games!!  

My games are slowly being moved up into the house to give me more room to work.. too bad its none of MY games being worked on but other peoples, but hey it keeps the bills paid   I'm up to ten games in the house, # eleven being moved up there soon (will start a thread with pics soon as i get things set up better).

Sorry, slight off topic there.. Lucky boy you are Dave getting a Playboy to do up.. i'm jealous!!   looking forward to seeing some pics.. and a resto thread

The deal with my better half is that the cars must be able to go in the garage .. luckily we have a double and a single garage

Thanks Nino .. pretty happy to grab a Playboy .. will take me straight back to my arcade days when i play it just like my Firepower does . Will probably hang onto the El Dorado for a while too I reckon

With five project project games, they should keep you busy for a while. I must be madder than you it seems as i'm currently up to TEN projects  (though five are set up and working although they need some cosmetic tlc)

Well I have made enough room in the back garage to be able to work on Playboy . 
Also have the 20+ year old stereo system set up in there now  .

Have to wait 2 weeks for council cleanup before I can throw some stuff out and will then have room to have 2 project pins set up in there . 

Pinball is taking over at my place ..
5 pins in the current lineup (2 of which are projects) , 4 backboxes and who knows what stored behind the lineup
4 pins in the back garage , 3 of which are projects
4 backglasses + a playfield stored under the bed

That looks better Dave  yoy don't need any more space than that. My shed is 60'x40' any I just seem to fill it with more crap
