Your 2 favorite playfields and backglass/translites?
« on: April 30, 2014, 11:57:09 PM »
At the end of my gamesroom i have space to hang either 2 playfields or 2 translites (or 1 of each) either side of the window.

I would love to pinch some ideas and hopefully see some artwork that i have never seen before.

So my question is what are your 2 favorite playfields and backglass/translites? And what would you use? Playfields, Translites or one of each?

Thoughts?

Tough call but I think 2x translites or back glasses. If I did go a pf I reckon a space invaders one. As far as translites etc again maybe a space invaders and paragon or medusa or a cv which is one of my faves and I have one without a game.
Still loving my Metallica Premium

Your collection consists of later model games.

Maybe buy the alternate "Shadow" translite, and compliment it with a classic SS backglass title like Paragon, Fathom or Medusa.

Whatever you do, you should backlight them somehow, either with insert lights or backbox lights. I'm not expecting you to go to these lengths, but this looks pretty schmick:

+1 to Strikes and Spares, it's stunning and a classic. CPR have just repo'ed this glass so you could have a perfect one.

It's a tough decision what to hang on your last remaining wall space.

I have so many Backglasses translights and Playfields I want to frame and hang but dot have the room.  Maybe one day lol.

I'd be going with Backglasses back lit  or even in there backboxes if your space allows.

My space invaders wall hanger looks amazing but good luck finding one

Now that's what im talking about! Love it!

Also liked Pete's suggestion of getting ones for games ill never own, BBB and Krull come to mind. Good luck finding them though im guessing.

I may need to spend some time looking at the ipdb for some playfield/backglass artwork that i have not seen before.

Does anyone know of a listing easier or better than IPDB?
