I can see a couple of Aliens in there  %$%

It took 1 second to spot the multiple Aliens in that artwork.

+1 from me too. Looks great, not much I don't like about it. I do wonder how I'd go swapping different games in and out though. Not because it looks difficult but because the collector in me would want a cabinet for each game. I guess for the ops it would be good. if you brought a second game without a second cabinet I suppose you could always buy another cabinet later. Cheaper way of getting a new game in the first instance.

plus side is the cost and storage options for second and third etc games. Limited space for a collector can be optimized. Downside is you cannot play or have all your games running a once
Still loving my Metallica Premium

I am glad someone did point out a few Alien bits under high res & with the artwork enlarged greatly cause I couldn't spot a dam thing Alien wise. Lol

The Where's Wally comment is kinda relevant cause you have to "study" the artwork very closely to find the art u expect or want to see. I just thought it would have Alien stuff that stuck out big time instead of really subtle stuff but perhaps the playfield plastics and all the other stuff will enhance it greatly.
I want Heighway to do well. I am not sure how the English pound is trading against our $ or the U.S. $ but I am hoping this major $ shift hasn't hurst Heighways chances of exporting pins to countries outside the Euro.
He deserves for his efforts to have the conditions favourable for him to succeed.

I almost said English Dollar instead of English Pound before but I didn't want to hear another economics lesson from my dear friend. Lol ;)

Yes, the Heighway cabinet looks great.
I like that overall design mostly. Very modern.

Being a fan of the series of films, and the original being one of my favorite horror movies of all time - the artwork needs to be dark and bland. There's nothing bright and shiny about the theme. Look at Bally Space Invaders - the artwork is REALLY detailed, bu not colorful as Paragon, Future Spa etc. Alien is a title that needs to be dark and menacing, and not be bright and colorful like The Spice Girls.

I like the art, and would prefer it to be even more "dark". It captures the concept really well.

If the artwork featured an Alien chasing and eating the Spice Girls that might work even better Nino.

I am not sure about the dark and bland idea ?
Dark probably, bland no.

I would like to see very very prominent artwork of the Alien Monsters in many different poses.
Cause what works well in the movies is when the Alien comes flying out of the Dark & scares the shit outta you !

From the dark might be an answer, versus in the dark.
I was hoping to see some More Sci-Fi stuff that was the iconic famous stuff.

Also hoping he offers full cabinet art as an option versus just the changeable side panel which appeals to site operators not home users.
His designs currently have definately been heavily inspired by the Sega Concave Headbox style of the very late 1998/1999 stuff which I have all of those specific Sega Headbox styled machines (6 different titles) and really like that ultra modern styling.

So far, Headbox wise, Heighway's design is the most modern design currently on the market.
Old school square is good, but it's good to have something new & different available.

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere but is there an Australian distributor yet for Heighway games?

Compared to the GB hand drawn art the Alien "clip art" looks very average.

Nope, stern doesn't like the idea of selling oppositions products.

So they'd have to be looking for a new "virgin" distributor... this'll be interesting
