Bride of Pinbot drive wheel
« on: December 11, 2014, 08:57:37 PM »
Hi guys,

Anyone have a nos or repo drive wheel for Bride of Pinbot that they'd be willing to part with? I think these are also used in Twilight Zone as well but they don't seem to be available anywhere anymore. Part numbers #03-8476

if you can borrow one, I would be happy to help you out and design and make available via shapeways. The least I can do for you mate.

yes, you are right used on both

That would be great Jady, I really appreciate the offer. I'll give it a bit of time for one to turn up before I hassle you with it though. Thanks again.  ^^^

I found a different pic not not sure which one is correct as that first one is a little funky. If it is like this one I could design easily in a night if someone could share some dimensions.

offer is there.

here is a quick 10min sketch, just need a few dimensions and give you a file and get these machined out of the cutting board material.

Thanks Rob that would be great, much appreciated.  ^^^

Thanks Jady, that's Awesome! Mines worn in places so it causes issues with the face alignment on my BoP but it's still good enough to take measurements from. It's a little tricky to get at but if Rob doesn't have any luck locating one I'll pull mine apart on the weekend and get some measurements.

Your a legend Rob, great find! I think I just brought one.....can't be sure, I don't read Dutch either.  %.%
Just spent the last 10 min on the Dutch to English translator trying to workout how to order. I think it was the last in stock as it wouldn't let me buy 2 of them.

Can't complain about the service, I just received an email that its shipped already and a partial refund on my postage. Pretty impressive since it would be lucky to be 20 minutes since I ordered.

Might be worth getting Jady to make one up before you install it Adam if they are getting that hard to find.

Must be good news if you are back onto getting BOP sorted.  Other machines are behaving themselves now?

excellent, I was disappointed when I didn't have one. Yeah my dutch is as good as my Chinese. I wish I  could get that quick a service at a supermarket let alone half way across the planet
