Wanted - Gottlieb Lockdown Bar for High Hand 1973
« on: May 01, 2015, 12:27:04 PM »
Hi all,
Looking for a Lockdown Bar for my Gottlieb High Hand. It's the one with the two pins. Any condition is fine as I'm just trying to resurrect, rather than restore.
Thanks!

Can we form an orderly queue?

I'll have one of the same once Klondike is sorted.

Where do these things end up? Why are they always missing? Is there a house somewhere entirely constructed from GTB  lockbars?

Yeah, it's weird how they disappear...it's like they are one of the few removable bits so people must remove them for some strange reason and never put them back?? I know one guy who has a spare lockdown bar but because they're hard to find he's not going to part with it... I guess I don't blame him but I think if I had a spare, I'd like it to go towards completing someone's machine that might otherwise be parted out.

I recently sold a standard lock bar and locking assembly to someone needing the round pinned lock bar not sure if the conversion worked.  If it did I have spare standard lock bars and lock assemblies I think

Thanks, I might investigate further as I think some of the coin entry mechanism might get in the way but I'm not sure...might be the way to go though.
