Hi all WTB: Metallica
« on: August 03, 2015, 12:31:34 PM »
Hi all, I've been cruising around this site for a while now trying to get some info on my MS Frankenstein machine.
Thankfully due to some people giving out great advice to another member I was able to fix my machine.  #*# @@*

As the heading says I'm looking for a Metallica premium if anyone has one they are looking at selling,. Cheers  ^^^
P.S Not sure if I posted this in the correct section so apologies if I didn't.

You'll need steel balls with that as your first post!
I enjoy Porsche, Gibson LPs, Bally-Williams & learning about pinball maintenance & restoration.

Thanks for the welcome. Did I post something that was out of order?

Not really, just my sense of humour, in the main - but a member's first post is often an introduction, saying hi, & outlining their interest in pins etc - so a jump straight in with a wtb can sometimes get either: 1. the sound of crickets; or 2. a few comments. Anyway, hi & indeed welcome to AP. There's a trading section which I think can be accessed after 20 posts. Good luck finding a Met - I think most AP members would love one.

Ok Andy thanks mate. The 20 post thing would explain why I couldn't find a buy and sell section.
As far as interest in pinball machines I enjoyed playing them in the late 70's and throughout the 80's. I'm finding a growing love for them in my older age!
It is my wife that always wanted one and now after buying and fixing a few for her I wan't one for me hence the WTB Metallica.
I have a love hate relationship with forums as some people on them are there for genuine interest and to help others while others are post whores
with nothing interesting or educational to say just pumping there post count and making it difficult to find information due to having to sift through their bull.

I would like to thank all of those actual experts (not the self proclaimed post pumping ones) for their time in answering questions and aiding people who want to have a go
at fixing their own machine. It may not be said that often but your time that you put in helping others is greatly appreciated.
I'm in the learning stage with pinball machines but have been on the advice giving end on another "hobby" which I worked in so I know the effort that can be put in by some people
so thanks again!

sorry for the rant!

I found this useful as I just realised I said to rack up 20 posts before I can see the trading area as well
