Flashers not working on Stargate
« on: November 06, 2015, 02:22:29 PM »
I have recently acquired a Stargate which has one issue I haven't been able to solve...the flashers do not work.

The flasher fuse is ok, the fuse connections look fine, so is it likely to be a board issue? All other lights function as they should. Cheers

Check resistor R1 under the playfield. (0.33 ohms, 5 Watt)

Replace if suspect.

If you have the manual - check the fuses.

Removing & reseating the plugs could help also look for burnt connectors & pins.

Are there multiple resistor boards under the playfield?
On another machine I had one that looked ok but one of the resistor leads had broken level with the top of the pcb and it wasn't obvious until I removed the board.
