TFTC - EM guy needs help
« on: February 24, 2016, 09:06:49 PM »
Hi all,
My TFTC has a burnt resistor 'R74' as you can see in the pics below. This is on the CPU Board.
I believe this to be a 680 Ohm 1/2Watt resistor. Schematic says 68 1/2 watt. Don't know if this is abbreviated or not ?
Can someone please tell me what is it.....thanks.
Also, what component is Q31 ?
Thanks in advance
Bruce

The other resistors are 680 ohms by the band colours so I assume the burnt one is too. Q31 is a transistor. It should have a number printed on it if you need to order one.

ok great, that's good to know that I was correct for the resistor.
I haven't taken the board out yet. I guess I should've, then maybe I might have noticed that it will be written on.  !^!
Thanks DSB, cheers mate.
