I think it's time for another shed extension
« on: February 29, 2016, 09:49:35 AM »
Well I've been tossing this idea around for a while.   I'm unable to extend my whole shed as the house is build on an angle but been thinking I can extend half making my shed an L shape.

Currently I have a curtain half way to try keep one end games room and one end work (fails most of the time) so by extending the back half I can still keep the curtain up and hopefully fit a few more of my games.  Sadly still won't fit all of them but a few more

Here's my scale cutouts so much easier moving paper than real machines.

Any thoughts guys?  Or should I start speaking to the council

I hear Ford is closing their Geelong plant
I know it would still be a bit of a squeeze, but it is something worth considering

I am doing the same at the moment as I have regrets selling my last couple of games due to room.

Yours will be very cool as it has CHOPPER, is this the same as WHIRLYBIRD?
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

Im doing exactly the same... have a 6X4 shed at the moment with everything piled up.. games in the house and games down the side of the house... games everywhere!

Planning to make an L shape shed by adding a 6 X 3 to it ( pulls up 800mm short of where the plans say the sewerage pipe is even though I KNOW its 1M back from there).
This will give me a 9M X 6M along the outside edge with bar at the end opening onto the gazebo where one can sit, relax and pour a beer off tap.

If I cant fit everything into that space, then I need to sell some off cos its impossible to go bigger!

You cannot build an extension on the front of the shed?

Buy more properties and keep the surplus offsite.

Add a second floor to the shed! :)

Yep, double your space for the same footprint.

If the house is a keeper and you're not going to move then this is what I would be doing.  I saw something similar at the muscle car museum in Tassy.  They have a small cage lift with an electric winch motor to lift the motorbikes up to the second story.  Would be perfect to have games room upstairs, workshop downstairs!

you don't have to be rich mate. Just ask the govt for assistance and assure them the car industry will stay in oz. Reckon that should buy you a few years before you can do a runner
Still loving my Metallica Premium

I wish mate I'm a dumb ass who works night shift in a service station cant afford to buy more property.   But info have plenty of games stored offsite

Not really only room for a carport

Yeah this place is a keeper till I move out bush and won't be taking all this crap with me.

Yeah second story could be good I'll ask about my options with the council.   The bowling game is the biggest issue if I go a second storey I still won't fit the bowling alley lol
