Here's my Strikes and Spares topper.
Will sit in the usual place once the resto is finished.

Wow, that has come up looking seriously cool Mark.
Should set off S & S to perfection.

This is my new FH topper (binned the old jobbie)
133 RED Led's recovered from an old shop sign.
Some nutting out VDC, mA, mcd, mA draw compensation blah blah.
Lots of amusement soldering up the series parallel layout.
Fun with Photoshop making banner & tickets.
Joy of punching out 133 x 5mm holes and drilling likewise in board.
Some blue contact sheet  and chrome trim . . .
and away she went.
The photos do not convey the intense RED colour of the LEDs
against the yellow background of the lettering.
Was it worth the effort?
Oh yeah.

PS there's a solenoid powered animated toy on the drawing board now  :D

Maxwiz, thats one of the best toppers to date.  ^^^

Looks bloody professional. 133 leds. Must have taken some patience putting it together. Well done.

Would it be worthwhile making some kits up and selling them to members. You would probably get $200 to $300 for a plug n play model.  ^^^ ^^^ ^^^

Photo below. I bought this Area 51 sign brand new (but manufactured to look weathered and old) for my X Files pinny or for my Revenge From Mars as a topper.

Was like $25 and is the size of half a carton of beer. So its sized extremely well for a topper (not too big, not too small). I just got lucky.
I think it was at a gas station somewhere on a shelf, so I just grabbed it.

The best and original GTB toppers.

Also from "the best game ever" Gilligan's Island. This is the original bit of side planking from the S.S.Minnow after she ran aground!

Nah not really, teeth marks suggest my dog bought it home after a trip to the beach   <.>
