When you hit the "refresh" button on your browser, hold down the shift key... this will force the browser to completely re-load the page, and not use anything in memory (or the cache)

Nah didn't help. Got one unread post in 'replys' but missing all the 'unread since last visit' had to manually find them

Strange issue. It did happen to me once. But not since. But it is happening to a few members, so it is not your machine, Matt..

I'll see what I can do.

I can't say it has ever happened to me... so, what version of IE or Firefox (or Google Chrome, Safari, etc...) are we all using... this may help solve the problem.

To find the version: Click on "Help" and then "About" in your browser. (In IE 7 onwards, if you do not have the "Help" menu, click on "Tools", then "Toolbars" and then "Menu Bar" - this will show the help menu)

I'm using Firefox version 3.0.3

But I will test this in IE 8 beta.

I will search the download database for SMF and see if I can find any reference to it. Maybe they have a patch for it.
