This thing is going to look close to new when finished!

A far cry from the project machine we first saw!!

Its getting there slowly!  Machine was  still in good nick to start with - just needed a bit of elbow grease.

The cabinet is now at home and I can begin to put everything back in her now.  Legs are on, cabinet brackets etc to go in then power section..

that is an awesome cabinet job. You gotta be impressed with the outcome (probably better than original)

I'm very happy with the job my mate did.  For a first time effort I cannot be happier.  The stencils are good - not perfect but I know its very very hard to make them..

We finished up putting a flat clear on - which makes it look 100% original (was done Sat night!)..

On with putting her back together.  I'm being super careful and almost need bonnet guards to hang over the side!

No chrome legs unfortunately.  I've got the black (powder coated) ones which I believe are 27" GTB legs but I could be wrong.  I may order a set at a later stage but the 'spend-o-meter' on this one has gone off the clock so far!

I was thinking that (about the spend-o-meter) a bit earlier in the thread! It will be a brilliant result, though.

Back together,

As always a few bugs to iron out...Namely a few playfield inserts (possibly connector issue), damm lower ball gate to kicker and when sound 6 is activated it gets stuck in loop.

Otherwise not too bad at all!

I'm quite jealous, my cab is very average, compared to this I don't think I'll ever put a photo up here! Great job, thanks for sharing the progress.

Ah, I have seen that movie - next time it comes along I will look out for the pinball machine.

Hope you can sort out those bugs soon, Marty.
