Stern - Deadpool - 2018

Rumor is that Deadpool was supposed to come out before Keith Elwin's Iron Maiden which was designed by John Trudeau and art by Zombi Yeti (who did Ghostbusters and Iron Maiden). The game was then apparently haltered due to Trudeau's departure from Stern and the game issued to another designer who is rumored to be Gomez with Zombi Yeti to then redo the art and should come out June / July 2018 in the US.
This picture was leaked and now published everywhere so not sure if this is Trudeau's design or Gomez's design with the game based on the comic book series and not the movies so with Zombie Yeti doing art it should look awesome.

Some interesting ideas here, look at shooter lane. Can't quite figure out what it does but seems to have a lifting ramp to back of play field. Not big on theme, but like that it should have some funny adult call outs?

It is an interesting layout. Just saw Deadpool the other day on my daughter's insistence. Not bad.

Thing is, is it the cancelled JT design or the newly designed replacement?

We may never actually see this one.

there are a few gomez elements in there but also some very original stuff so we won't know until the game comes out

I like how the access to the back left ramp, is via a shot on the upper right, with the ball crossing over in front of the spinner.  There will be some cursing there when in multi ball a shot towards the spinner collides with a ball about to go up the ramp.

The table certain looks like trudeau design, but with a much more open playfield. The shot you mention was the first thing I noticed, and that kind of design is part of Trudeau's bag of tricks for sure.

I like the shots on Maiden but can't stand the music, if it was a better theme I would buy it.
Love the theme of Deadpool, shots look good but will wait for the stream before I pull the trigger.

- watched the live stream which will go to youtube tonight - looked great, interesting shots, rules and features- music and sounds were good as were the call outs paid my deposit for a pro - due for a new game, looking forward to something new to play

Game looks great, loved the shots, flow, callouts, music and animations. Stern have done a terrific job with this theme.
I'm in for a pro too, don't see enough extras to warrant getting a Prem or LE with this one.
