Where to buy IDC replacements ?

Hey guys is there anywhere locally that sell IDC replacement connectors or the molex crimp equiv + the board headers ? Or will i have to get from overseas ?

IDC = Cheap connectors used to speed up production.

Use Trifuricon - much better - especially for high current applications such as GI.

That was from GPE, but you can get most of the bits from RTBB/PSP.

you need .156 for GI etc. .100 for switch matrix.

Wayne at the PBF sells the genuine IDC & I can understand you wanting to use them rather than the other type which may be "better" but aren't original and in my opininon look fake (shit)

I use original IDC stuff in my 'high end' restoration work, in home use the IDC should be fine for the remainder of the game's 'retirement' ;)

For the games I fix for route operators, I use the trifurcons etc.

Have to agree with nino here, nothing wrong with changing a part if it proves more reliable and especially if it cant be seen.
