Light for Eject hole on Getaway??
« on: December 21, 2009, 10:12:25 PM »
I ordered some LED's a few weeks back for my Getaway pin. I think a basic full replacement kit was made up for me first, and then I ordered some extras. Anyway, one of the LED's came in a bag marked "44HP5 Red - Upper Kick Out" I'm just wondering where this should go? I know there's an assembly towards the top of the playfield that the ball falls into, and is then ejected, but I cant see anywhere that this globe would fit. Just wondering, is there actually a light fitting in the eject assembly that I cant see? The hole itself that the ball rests in is made of clearish red plastic, but I cant see anywhere a light would go. Thanks for any info if anyone knows what I'm blabbering on about...  :)

There are definately no lights under the playfield for that kickout, I just finished restoring my HS2 and stripped the complete PF and pulled out that red saucer for a clean up.  Could it be a flasher or GI that lights up when the ball is about to be kicked out?
