Just came back from a quick break !
« on: January 08, 2010, 04:07:29 PM »

Took the family down the beach to Rye for 8 Days (Mornington Peninsula). Did some swimming, Fishing, drinking and generally didn't go near a computer or a pinball for a week. New Year's was REALLY HOT and the power went out for a while - LUCKY - We had bags of ice handy !

Just good to "wind down" with some quality time with the family  ^^^ ^^^

wish it were for longer  !!!

Yeah, a week isn't really long enough - need a good two weeks away I reckon.

Should have called in and grabbed the boat! (I should be out there NOW - bay's like glass!)  !!!
Why is it called PMS?
Because "Mad Cow Disease" was already taken...

Next time I'll take at least two weeks off. But it was worth just "getting away" to recharge the batteries.

PLENTY of decent flatties - 35cm - one monster at 52cm. Salmon were a bit too small off the surf.

Better than my effort in September up at Laurieton, Lake Cathie and Tahlee - plenty of smaller bream, whiting and tailor, but nothing of legal length. I reckon it is the most fish I have ever caught without bagging something to keep.
