1976 Kees Games Sprint 2 What a classic!!!!!!!!!!
« on: March 13, 2010, 06:23:47 PM »
I fired up my 1976 Kees Games Sprint 2 machine this morning.

It took me 3+ years to find this game and I have to say it's probably my favorite out of all my arcade machines in my collection. This machine is the Hankin australian version and called Indy 2 and not Sprint 2 as released in the USA by Atari/Kees Games in 1976.

Here's a pic of my Indy 2 and a video of the game play filmed in June 2008.

My driving is crapo on the video as I was driving one handed and filming with the other  @.@  **)

Hey does anyone here remember playing this machine in the late 70's early 80's??

Awesome.  I love these old original car games.

I think I may know someone who has an original Sprint 1 & 2!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks marty

Not many of these machines around these days, I'm hoping to find the cardboard artwork that sits behind the backglass, I've been hunting this for bloody ages.

The operator who I brought this from changed the monitor to a colour one and I guessing the monitor surround got thrown out?? !!!

I know craig (wonder1) has a Sprint 2 in Perth, as he scanned his artwork for me. Thanks craig  ^^^

Being the fussy collector I am I would like to have the original cardboard surround one day perhaps?? !@#

If anyone here can help please send me a pm

Cheers

That is an awesome machine and brings back a flood of memories. Congrats !

I have a KEE Games SPRINT 1 in the resto queue and a GRAN TRAK10. I used to have a LE MANS, but I sold that 3-4 years ago. If I find pictures, I'll post them !

I actually have a spare steering wheel - I THINK it belongs on the Atari Night Driver which is somewhere in the storage building !

No probs Nino

One thing I've learn't whilst collecting these games is that you can never have enough spare parts to keep them alive

I agree. I have four of five Grand Trak10 Boards in various condition. I just need to find the time and space to test them in the cabinet !
