WHAT WILL IT SELL FOR ?
« on: September 02, 2010, 08:24:45 AM »
Mint SIMPSONS, with both spare playfields.  What will it sell for guys ?  I reckon $5500.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320583837424&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.com.au%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp4712.m570.l1313%26_nkw%3D320583837424%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

(then i would sell both playfields on ebay n it would mean i got the machine for even less).

3 days to go before the auction ends. Watch n see the results of this one !

I'd say $5800 +- $200
I 've seen this pin a few years back , it's been well taken care of.
Don't know how many games on it thought, I'm guessing 3000+ but that's only a guess.

ONLY 3000 games ? surely not ?, did u mean 300.  (if its three thousand, I would just buy one from Mark, brand new in box).

But, it does have a spare playfield, and the one in it looks bloody good.

I guess, there is nothing like BRAND NEW.

It will be interesting to see what it goes for. STAY TUNED ON EBAY.  ^^^

burra749 he's sold a few pinballs over the years, I don't know if he's a member on AP, but he used to post heaps on AA.

Bought a Pin a few years back from Richard , real nice bloke .The 3000 plays was just a guess I could be way out  !@#. But he loved that pinball and said he would never sell it . So maybe 350-500 games per year x 5 years ??? !@#

I'm seriously considering some knockout bids on this one. Have been keen on a TSPP for a while now. Anyone else having a dip?

And I'm with you cave, I would flog the playfields and get some cash back. What do you the think they would sell for?

Rigged - Cavey starts a thread re this pin, has a stab at $5500, and then the auction ends at $5500.

Own up Cavey, you put in the winning bid didn't you?!?!?

no, I didnt win this one, but my crystal ball was pretty good. i was out by $1. lol

5500 was about what i thought it would sell for maximum, because buying a new one from mark, and the price mark wants, would make me only pay 5500 for a second hand one.

someone got a real good deal cause it has 2 x playfields spare, and looks to still be minty in condition.

I will buy a simpsons, but probably a new in box, if its the right price. someone scored a really nice looking machine, hope the seller is happy with the 5500.
