Attack From Mars - How to ruin an AFM
« on: September 17, 2010, 07:40:11 PM »
This has got to be the worst "mod" I have ever seen! Talk about wreck the game!

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/attack-mars-pinball-full-stickers-set-/120622730638?pt=AU_CoinOp&hash=item1c15accd8e

I also love the way this particular machine is "awaiting a full body resticker (originals nos)" - I would have thought that nos decals would be pretty unusable 15 years later? And weren't these games screened - pretty sure mine is, so how could they be nos?

I like the backbox mod (which can always be removed anyway) but i dont like the other sticker mods. Each to their own.

Nothing wrong with giving it a go. Someone else out there may love it !  !@#

I visited capital pinball a couple of weeks ago. He showed me this AFM, the stickers look ok but it won't be for everyone. As for the prices of his pins........ %.%

No chance. He has a Cactus Canyon that he wants over 15k for.......and it ain't mint I can assure you. Wants to charge me 6k for a LOTR and I couldn't even look at it because it is out on site.

2 minutes talking to this guy (well, 2 words from you and the rest from him) would be enough, wouldn't it?

Spot on with your comments. Mod ordinary, cab decals also a mod as cabs were screened as original.
Still loving my Metallica Premium

OK sorry to say this but I HAVE to say this FOOL of a man has just uttelry p*ssed me off.
He has been emailing me about the FH I have for sale on Ebay and treating me like a complete noob.
Today he sends me a message that says " I took another look at your game and I am willing to offer you $2500.00 as it has broken ramps and is an import" ( I have it listed as a 3k start price )

I mean F*CK ME - did he even LOOK at my game?
Naturally the reply to this complete IDIOT stated that I knew he RIPPED PEOPLE OFF with his pricing of games and I said a bit more. What a complete and utter TOOL of a man  %%$ !!@ %%$

He says it is because we buy them , and ( wait for this ) .............fix them up and restore them  ^&^

While the original post was because of the decals themselves and the BS claim, I have had my own experience with this piece of work Wotto, you're not alone mate!!
