Sanding tips?

Hi all

Planning to sand out the sink hole surrounds at the top of my Hot Hand playfield and then re-coat over the nice clean result.

Question is - what is the best way to sand out these holes so they retain thier shape and dont end up with 'wobbly' or un-even surfaces
It is nearly like I need a conical or ball shaped attachement for my Dremel where the sanding 'ball' squishes into the hole at an even pressure and sands away.

Any ideas other than advising me to do this manually would be appreciated

360 Grit wet/dry wrapped around a tennis ball or similar sized ball. I don't recall exactly what ball I used on my Hot Hand, but it worked a treat !
