Xmas has come early...
« on: November 23, 2010, 07:38:19 PM »
Lucky me. My latest games have been shoehorned in the garage. The artwork gives away the titles. Escape From The Lost World will be the first to be sold off , the others will need work/parts to be got going. Another couple of early Bally's to add to the collection. My first is Embryon and was the only early Bally I had for years now I have 7 - need a  Paragon and I think that will do it for me. Lucky me .... Hope the pics attach.....

Those machines look familiar. Didn't buy them off Lee Buck did you ? I was playing the lost world when I was last down at his house and helping him get the other's sorted.
Small world, Glad they made the journey down under save and sound.

Yes , they are from Lee's. You're right it is a small world. He said he had a friend down who kept telling him he was selling them too cheap! I presume that was you!
They arrived safe and sound although the bottom corner of the Escape FTLW sustained a little damage but thats ok.

Shame about the EFT Lost World getting damaged, maybe with the cabinet being made from chipboard wouldn't help. Wasn't me, I know the guy who was telling him he was selling them to cheap, that's because he wanted two of them himself, but Lee being Lee told him that the price had been agreed and that is what they were selling for.
Top guy is Lee and he has a really great collection of pins, and some very rare titles.
Darren.

Yes, Lee is a stand up guy. He gave me some extras for nothing as well which was greatly appreciated. I sure picked the eyes out of what he had for sale. He told me he had a heap of pins but dont recall what he had. What rare titles does he have? The exchange rate was good for the last shipment too!

Played so many machines that I had never heard of, Most of which where very rare, mainly Euro one from Lee's warehouse raids of which he picked up some real bargains. Shame things like that don't happen much these days, although I am promised a phone call if he gets to hear of another.
Machines that stand out from the week I spent at Lee's were, Mephisto made by Cirsa (Spain) and Spooky by Zac, There was one which I cant remember the name of with great artwork and made by Playmatic. Looked like Zara warrior princess but we could not get the thing working, shame. Maybe next time.

Escape from lost world. Only ever seen one other of those. Love the shot across the unguided "bridge". good innovation

The Bridge of Gold shot is tricky - I think I got it once on my first few games and havent been able to do it again....
