Switch problem
« on: December 24, 2010, 01:51:39 PM »
This is related to my F114/115 problem on my TZ. I replaced the ULN2803 chip and now have my switches working again. But some switches activate several others at the same time. I still get F114/115 errors. So far I have noticed that the switches in Row 1 and Row 4 seem to be the problems.

By the way I get F114/115 errors with no balls loaded. When I threw all the balls back in to touble shoot another day. I get Check Fuses F115/116, J112 & opto 12v supply. Does this pin point the troubles any closer to you guys?

Any ideas on what I need to look for or to do to try to isolate where the problem could be?

Replaced all 3 LM339's on the 10 opto pcb and now have no fuse errors (for those interested), but still have switch matrix problems. Also Lock release solenoid now keeps activating on start up. Unsure if this is an indication of where the problem may lie??

I had to replace all the switch connectors on the opto pcb and the CPU.  I was getting phantom registers and firings.  Manipulate the wires just back from the connectors and see if anything happens

+1 Sounds like a connector issue. Did you recently add LEDs ?
