T2 Gate question
« on: January 07, 2011, 10:41:35 AM »
Hi Everyone,

I'm almost finished replacing the playfield on my T2. I'll post some pics and some things i learned along the way once i get it working again.

As usual I thought i took enough photos, but I cant figure out where all the one way gates (aka ball guides in the williams manual) go.

The two way gates on the ramps are obvious. the ball launcher gate and the escape loop gates are obvious, but where do the others go? The illustration of playfield parts didnt really help me, and i've trawled resto photos here and on the interweb but for the life of me it escaping me......

I'll see if i can figure it out over the weekend, but since a few people here have T2s that they've restored i thought i'd ask the experts (I havent seen a T2 on site for years to check one out)

andrew

I'm pretty sure there is one that lurks under the T2 skull, just in front of the VUK.

edit...Actually, thats probably not a one way...

thanks timbo, it makes sense for a oneway to be in front of the vuk, behind the target to stop bouncebacks. i'll check it out tonight.

I think the other one goes on the left ramp for bouncebacks.
