Flintstones up next - return lane art
« on: January 15, 2009, 10:01:00 PM »
Hey all,

Anyone own a Flintstones.
Again a machine that has bare metal on the return lanes.
So I am going to do 'something' for both sides.

Unlike WH20 I will just have to put this straight onto the metal so I dont upset the flow/ angle of the roll-around on the apron.

Not really sure, I have been looking at some type of image there ( on and off ) for months and cant decide.

Maybe something as simple as Yabba Dabba Doo for each side?

Maybe the pink 'Dino' art that runs across the middle of the PF ?? ( although I dont think it would 'fit in' down there - colourwise )

I even thought about taking an image of the area without the steel lane guides and making it so the PF art ( that you dont see in that spot ) sat on top of the lane guides to make the picture down there look 'complete' - but that may also look 'dicky' unless you are looking straight down on it.

Will play with some ideas'

Might consider doing some cards as well and using the original cartoon images for the background for them????

Will update idea's here.

How about Yabba-Dabba on one side and Doo on the other?

Had A Flintstones for ayear or so and a very underated game - only let it go because of other pins in the pipeline. I was thinking carry on the same colour and pattern from the slings. Wouldn't be hard to duplicate and would add to the ball behind the flippers feature that catches people unaware.
