My Williams Getaway Mod
« on: March 11, 2011, 09:58:20 PM »
I thought I would ad a bit of colour to my Williams the Getaway.  New LED wedge globes in the Traffic light.    Red, Orange, and Blue.  And I replaced two of the pop bumper caps, now its Red, Yellow, and Blue.   Does this look ok?  Or would it look better with a green bumper cap?.

Hmm, guess I am a traditionalist on this one and would stick to the traffic light colours of green, yellow and red...

I orderd a green cap from Mark.C    Dident no how it would look till I changed them, now the green cap would keep with the theme of the game...

Looks good, nice mods. There's one of these in apizza shop near my place.  I've never been into car-themed games, but gotta admit it's fun.

Since I took the other pick I changed the lower pop bumper cap from blue to green . So its now Red, Yellow, & green . And the traffic light now has Red, Yellow, and Blue  LEDs. I might get brighter LEDs down the track as the blue LED is not as bright as I would like. I put the game in lamp test mode to show how it looks.....

I love your avatar!
As for mods - IMO do whatever pleases you, most mods are reversible if necessary anyway.

Still improoving the look of my Williams The Getaway, lastnight I installed new slingshot plastics for the left and right slings as the old ons where very dull and dident let much light through them. Looks nice bright and tidy now...
Am after two PF plastics,  The  left sling turbo plastic and the (Buckle up is the law) plastic at the top of the shooer lane, mine are ok but would like better ones. And one of the long threded screws that goes in the return lanes next to the batts,,does this have a part no?
Will up load sum picks shortly.
