Is a Bally Ro Go a good pin?
« on: May 13, 2011, 08:36:52 PM »
Saw this on ebay.
Looks ok, anyone know if it's a good player or not?
Even if it's not, $850 is not a bad price.

Is this the Perth Ro Go that has been on Ebay many times and gradually dropping in price?

In all honesty this is a very tidy example... the red is really faded out on the BG.. but she does look tidy.

To be quite frank.. its a standard keep the ball alive as long as possible pinball... plunge the ball and see how long you can last.
Simple honest game that will play fast... and if in Perth well worth looking at.

I have a really nice Ro Go and Gav is right, the red is faded on this example. Artwork is really good, but there is not that much to do on the playfield except collect bonus !

I like the Nordic / Viking theme, and I prefer the Ballys to the Gottliebs and Williams of this era. I would check that the game has chimes (its from Europe). It is defintely a rare machine, but not as rare and collectible as other Bally titles of the era (Fireball, Old Chicago, Capersville).

I didn't realise it had been listed before.

I see what you mean about the red, I just had a look at IPBD.
The rest looks ok though.
