Tech Tip #10 - Measuring I.C. pins.
This mainly concerns I.C's in sockets....
When you're measuring voltages or waveforms on I.C pins, make sure you place your probe on the actual I.C pin itself.
Don't always rely on measuring the IC-socket contact, because in many cases old IC sockets can be corroded and resistive enough to not allow the full voltage/signal get to the IC pin....
Don't get caught, and wonder why the voltage is different every time you go to measure it ;-)
