Just received this reply, so anyone interested might want to get added to the mailing list -

Thanks very much for your recent correspondence and interest in the ColorDMD project.  I recently added a short FAQ to address some of the more common questions I've received over the last few days.  Hopefully this provides some additional information regarding the status of the project.  I've also added your contact information to an interest group mailing list for any future announcements.

Just recjeved an email, these go on sale next week
I will be getting one, anybodg else want one an to split the postage?

Anyone that wants to jump the gun over everyone else - Bay Area Amusements (one of ColorDMD's distributors) already has them listed as in stock and for sale.

Not trying to over hype it, but the initial reports are there were only 100 preliminary units made to test the demand and it is impossible to gauge how quickly these will actually sell.  !@#

ColorDMD online store is open, but all items are currently listed as out of stock.

Also note that they only ship to US and Canada making it compulsory to go through Bay Area distributor (see above post) for international orders.

Well either Bay Area have sold out of colordmd stock already, OR they were told to stop selling the ColorDMD's before the April 6th start date, since the BAA link in the above post is no longer working and the colordmd product link has been removed from their website.

I believe that when CPR did a run of playfields in the past, Wayne would get an number of playfields instead of cash as payment for the licence
I would asume the same deal may aply to PP

I do have that already, I recall it was worth updating back then anyway - better light show from memory.
